Project: Regional Development Plan for the Riverine Area of Delta State Client: Delta State - Nigeria Description: The consortium composed of GIS/Transport and SIRAJ Nigeria Limited has completed a Regional Development Plan for the Riverine area of Delta State. These areas were first examined in terms of their economical drivers, population, natural resources, and their entire existing infrastructure. A comprehensive survey of the current status and conditions of these areas was conducted. It was followed by an analysis of the pathway that these areas need to follow in order to reach the desired level of development. A detailed action plan was finally devised for the implementation of the recommendations and the development of the region. Landsat Satellite Images were used for the development of the various databases needed in this project.  Download PDF File.
